In response to the gold rush, which attracted many Americans, British Columbia was proclaimed a Crown Colony at Fort Langley in 1858. Today, Fort Langley evokes a sense of historic place with one original building and several reconstructed buildings, costumed interpreters, historic objects and special events. |
